Welcome to Sea-Angling.Org.UK

Home of the UK Sea Angling Forums

Welcome to my Sea Fishing Web Pages, which concentrates predominantly on fishing from the beach (and rocks etc.). I have been fishing for over 40 years, so am a bit of an old hand. I have always lived by the sea, originating from Deal in Kent, so fishing sort of came naturally as a past-time. I now live in Poole, Dorset, which is on the central South coast of England, and is a major recreation and holiday area.

Poole is well known for it's maritime links, and has excellent facilities for the visiting yachtie and angler alike. The Quay, whilst having been modernised, still has some of the old character of Poole, and the historic preserved area of Old Poole is just off the Quay, along with Museums, and of course, pubs, clubs, restaurants and shops.

Poole Town. There is a large, modern shopping mall (The Dolphin Centre) just minutes walk away from the Quay.

Poole is an excellent area for families, and one of the best fishing ports in the country.

Tubertini rod for H4H charity
23rd October 2009 - 12:01 - by ian h
Hope I am in the right section and am allowed to mention this?

I have a Tubertini rod in a hard carry case that is being auctioned for the help for heroes charity.
Tubertini Dorado, 2.40m rated for 20/40g
The rod on it's own is a pretty tidy item, but this one has some interesting graphics on the case.
We basically wanted to get the case signed, but I was pretty determined to have it signed by people with a direct link to the military and more importantly people... [Read More]

AOL Problems and Solutions
24th May 2009 - 02:42 - by Jimbo
I know AOL users have been having problems, and it seems everytime I install a patch to fix it, up pops the same old beast.

I'm really sorry but its due to the fact that the AOL browser uses cache servers and the browser's IP changes on each page view which causes problems with session validation. There is not much that can be done to overcome it, other than trying the suggestions below.

Please let me know how you get on.
